Best Mocktails in Pittsburgh – 9 Bars/Restaurants with Alcohol Free Options

Looking for a fun night out minus the booze? Luckily Pittsburgh has you covered! I don’t drink, but I’ve made it my mission to find amazing bars and restaurants with delicious mocktails where I can have a great time sober. I’ve personally tried every place on this list.

Bridges & Bourbon

Bridges & Bourbon has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants. They only have two mocktails on their menu, but they are some of the best I’ve ever tasted and they’ll only set you back $5 apiece. To top that off, all of the food I’ve had here has been incredible. Try the baked Brie and thank me later.

Con Alma

Famous for their amazing live jazz, what you may not know is that Con Alma also has a wide selection of nonalcoholic beverages. They can make several of their cocktails with nonalcoholic spirits and they have alcohol free wine and beer. I tried a nonalcoholic watermelon sangrita and it was delicious. But what I was even more surprised by was their alcohol free rose which was one of the best I’ve had. I even got stressed for a minute after taking a sip because it tasted so real, but the label did indeed say alcohol free.

Nestled in Squirrel Hill, you’ll feel like you’re on a tropical vacation at this tiki bar. The vibes and drinks are fun to say the least. They have two nonalcoholic cocktails. I got the riptide which is a GIANT citrus and passion fruit based drink that has to be the size of at least two normal drinks and only cost $10. I sat at the bar and had fun watching them prepare all of the cocktails. They even had one that came lit on fire. For dinner, I got an impossible burger and fries which was delicious as well. A new favorite place in Pittsburgh for sure!

Bar Botanico

A trendy bar in Lawrenceville, Bar Botanico is great if you want the true bar experience but without the liquor. They have two mocktails as well as some house made lemonade and sodas.

One of my top three favorite pizza places in Pittsburgh, Alta Via also has incredible mocktails made with nonalcoholic spirits.

Margaux

A café during the day and a bar at night, Margaux is one of my favorite places to visit. It’s usually very chill and not at all crowded and as an introvert, I love that. It’s a great place to chat with a friend while sipping a mocktail. They only have one mocktail option, but I imagine they could make more if you ask.

Harold’s Haunt

Pittsburgh’s first “they” bar, Harold’s Haunt is an inclusive bar located in Millvale with a wide range of mocktails. They even have sober days on Sunday’s. They also have food options and I recommend the soft pretzel and chocolate chip cookies. We went on a Monday at 5 pm, so it was basically dead. I assume it picks up at other times.

Scratch & Co

If you’re looking for a (non) boozy brunch, this is the place to go. They have a few mocktail options. I got their delicious breakfast sandwich and the Trueholding mocktail. While they could improve the garnishings (there were none), the mocktail was delicious. If you’re not a brunch person, they’re open for other meals all day long as well.

Tocayo

Tocayo is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh. It’s a Mexican restaurant with delicious tacos, cocktails, and flan. While they don’t have any mocktails officially on their menu, I’ve had luck asking the bartender for a non-alcoholic strawberry Mexican mojito which is one of the best mocktails you’ll ever have.
